SMS Tariffs of All Operators May go up ! SMS Packs may get Revised

Future Says Free SMS No More .........................

After the glitch between operators on SMS Termination Charges, it seems that the SMS Tariffs may get hiked upto 12 Paise per SMS on SMS Packs. That is a Pack of 1000 bundled SMS may be be charged at a Higher rate of upto Rs. 120.

SMS Termination Charge is the Amount Charged to the Operator which Sends the SMS by the Recepients Operator. Big Telecom Companies are aiming Higher Termination Fees upto 10p Per SMS. Which means the Sender Operator has to Spend at least 10paise for an SMS sent by its Subscriber. So to get a minimal Profit in the SMS Service Operators may charge atleast 12 paise/SMS to reduce Loss and to make a Small Profit.

The Supposed SMS Tariff Hike may hit the Indian Telecom Sector by Q1-13 may be the New Year will be costly.
